I'm not one for epitaphs, and this is possibly the worst place on the net to be doing so, but fuck it. Aside from the accusations of pedophilia and the color of his skin, far from the numerous attempts to live his long lost childhood, he was just another casualty to fame. Possibly the most tragic. Fame chewed him up and spit him out, fame slandered his name and hounded his back like a pack of ravenous wolves. Fame broke him and built a weaker man back together.

That's what we do with our celebrities; we own them. We hound and tail them, we nitpick every aspect of their lives and throw it on the front page. Nobody suffered a worse fate at the infinite hands and faces of the beast of Crowd than MJ. We saw first hand his deterioration from the immortal King Of Pop into this shamed, ghoulish person who has now left us. Many of you will remember Michael for his pedophilic antics or his strange appearance, I think the most basic dignity we can leave the man is to remember him for his music.
